You Get To Spend Time With Yourself

This is the most important aspect of camping alone. It’s just you and nature. There is no road noise of a busy highway or loud words from crowds of people. You get to disconnect from Netflix, the news and, if you have the willpower, your phone. This is a time to reflect and see things you may not have before because they were clouded by modern distractions. The loneliness that may set in is there to embrace. Your inner mountaineer is out there for you to find.
